Elizabeth Park, a successful business leader in
the fragrance and beauty industry for 25 years, will be presented
with the University’s Distinguished Alumni Award
during the undergraduate Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May
Park currently serves as executive vice president, North America marketing, for the Elizabeth Arden Corporation, one of the world’s leading makers of perfumes and cosmetics.
Park, a graduate of the University's College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions, joined Elizabeth Arden in 2005 as senior vice president of global marketing. She served as the company’s executive vice president of global marketing and general manager of EA USA from 2006 to 2010. Prior to joining Elizabeth Arden, Park was senior vice president of marketing USA for Lancome, a division of L’Oreal Products. She was with Lancome from 2003 until 2005. From 1995 to 2002, Park held several marketing management positions with the Estee Lauder Companies, including senior vice president of global marketing Prescriptives and vice president of Estee Lauder Cosmetics. Park began her career with positions at Avon Products and Revlon Inc.
A longtime member of the Cosmetic Executive Women organization, Park has actively mentored numerous young professionals in the industry who have gone on to become senior executives.
Park's daughter, Lindsay Park '12, also will be at the May 20 Commencement ceremony – she will be graduating from the University’s Barney School of Business.
