The 2013 graduates of the University of Hartford’s acoustics
program had a perfect placement record – they all got jobs in their
field or were accepted to graduate programs before Commencement in
The students either earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in acoustics, or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering—Acoustical Engineering and Music. The acoustics program is based in the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture (CETA) and is directed by Professor of Mechanical Engineering Robert Celmer '78.
