The Hartt School Theatre Division will present Thoroughly Modern Millie, with performances Thursday, March 6, through Saturday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 9, at 3 p.m. in Millard Auditorium.

This comic pastiche musical by Jeanine Tesori with lyrics by Dick Scanlan and book by Richard Morris and Scanlan is directed by Robert H. Davis, with choreography by Darlene Zoller and musical direction by Michael Morris.
Hartt junior Sarah Mae Banning plays the role of Millie Dillmount, the small-town girl who arrives in New York City to marry for money. Hartt junior Cassandra Dupler plays Mrs. Meers, the leader of a white slavery ring and owner of The Priscilla Hotel Millie checks into. Graduating seniors, all of whom have participated on stage in Hartt's partnership-in-training with Goodspeed Musicals, include Jason Long in the role of Jimmy Smith, Alexis Semevolos in the role of Miss Dorothy Brown, and Aneesa Folds in the role of Muzzy Van Hossmere. Mr. Trevor Graydon is played by Jake Oswell.
