The University will open today at 10 a.m. Classes will begin at 10:30 a.m. Winterterm on-campus classes with start times prior to 10:30 a.m. will meet beginning at 10:30 a.m. while remaining on-campus and all online classes will meet at their scheduled times.

Hawks to Compete in America East Basketball Tournaments This Weekend

The University of Hartford women’s basketball team will begin its quest for an America East championship tonight (Friday, March 7), and the men will begin tournament play on Saturday.

The America East Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship will be taking place throughout the weekend at the University at Albany in Albany, N.Y. The winners of the men’s and women’s championships will earn automatic spots in the upcoming NCAA tournaments.

The 5th-seeded Hartford women will take on No. 4 Maine tonight (Friday) at 8:15 p.m. in a quarterfinal match. The winner will advance to the semifinals on Sunday.

The Hartford men, who earned a No. 3 seed in the tournament, will face No. 6 Binghamton in a quarterfinal match on Saturday at 8:15 p.m. The winner will advance to the semifinals on Sunday.
