On Wednesday, Feb. 26, three teams of University of Hartford students completed the first round of competition for The Hartford’s Campus Case Competition. The students had two weeks to collaborate with team members to solve a case which included insurance- and business-related problems and the opportunity to win $1,000.

The winning team will be competing against five other universities: Bentley University, Boston University, Fairfield University, Quinnipiac University and the University of Connecticut. The competition will be held at The Hartford headquarters for the final presentation and the opportunity to win another $1,000.

When you see Jamilee Henry, Debra Pierre, Alex Simard, Kyle Allen, Thomas Rupprecht, Brenton Adelson and Andy Steinberg, be sure to congratulate them on a job well done.  Our winning team consists of Ben Patterson, Trevor Teply, Jessy Oliverez, Sam  Cormier and Andres Olarte — these students will be heading to The Hartford’s headquarters for the final competition on Friday, April 4!  Be sure to congratulate them and wish them well on the next round of competition.
