Attention all movie-lovers and filmmakers! On Wednesday, May 7, the Reel Film Club and the University of Hartford's Cinema Department will be hosting a student film festival, sponsored by Spotlight Theatres in Hartford.
We want your film to be shown! If you made a movie during the 2013–2014 academic year and want it displayed on the big screen, send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can submit any video work via Vimeo, YouTube, another website, on DVD, or as a .mov file.
When you submit your film, please include the title, running time, genre (documentary, animation, comedy, etc.), and a one-sentence synopsis of the film. If you are submitting a DVD, you can drop it off outside Professor Margo Greenlaw's office at 108 Abrahms Hall.
The deadline for submission is May 1 at 11:59 p.m. Due to time constraints, we can't promise to show every film that is submitted, but we will review each film that is submitted and get back to you right away.
Reel Fest 2014 is on Wednesday, May 7,from 7 to 9 p.m. at Spotlight Theatres (39 Front Street, Hartford). This screening is free and open to the public. Drinks, popcorn, and other snacks will be available for purchase at the concession stand. Thanks to Spotlight Theatres for sponsoring Reel Fest 2014!
