Erik Wexler, 50, an alumnus of the University of Hartford, is currently head of the Northeast region of Tenet Healthcare Corp., which owns Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass. He'll be in line to oversee Waterbury, Bristol, Rockville General, and Manchester Memorial hospitals if Tenet succeeds in folding those not-for-profit institutions into its collection of 77 for-profit hospitals across the United States, according to an article on the front page of the Hartford Courant on Sunday, April 27. The column by Dan Haar was also distributed over the Bloomberg Business network.
