Hour of Code happens on 12/8/16 @12:15 in Dana Hall 318
The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with 1-hour coding activities but expanding to all sorts of community efforts.
Now a days code is everywhere, and in everything. So it's important to know how to use it, code however can be quite confusing to learn on your own. So come on down and learn code with us. The computer science department will have tutors, and some of our top CS students there to help your project.
The project we will be working on is a beginning tutorial into Unity. The project in the end will resemble a collect-a-thonesque game, where the player gets to control a ball. You get to edit the properties in order to make some really cool, or really interesting things happenha
Hope to see you there!
