Did you study abroad for a semester or short-term program? Want to learn more about what to do now since you've been abroad? How about figuring out how to use your study abroad experience in your interviews and networking, and on your resume? Want to go abroad again, either to work, volunteer, or attend grad school?
Attend this year's Connecticut Area Study Abroad (C.A.S.A.) Re-Entry Conference happening for the first time here on UHart's campus this Saturday, February 4th from 9:30-3pm. There are sessions on unpacking the experience, going abroad again, communicating the experience, and time work networking with international education professionals and a resume critique. The cost of attendance is $5 in advance, $10 on the day of, and includes breakfast, lunch, and all of the re-entry conference materials.
Only 10% of U.S. students study abroad, and this is an excellent opportunity not only to market your experience, but to also get valuable professional development as you look forward to your next steps both here at UHart and once you graduate.
