Especially in turbulent times, it can be hard to keep up with the vast amount of journalism being produced. So last week we asked you to share your favorite newsletters and other means of organizing good writing.
Greg Woodward, president of Carthage College, recommended the weekly Brain Pickings newsletter as a way to transcend "the noise of the 'real' world." (He also offered some commiseration: "Every few years I realize I am never going to catch up on my New Yorkers … so I do a little sacrificial purge from tables and shelves all over the house. It is hard.")
