The 2017 Writing Contests are now accepting submissions!
Every year, the Department of English & Modern Languages holds competitions in ten categories, recognizing work written in introductory classes (like WRT 110, 111, and 210); critical essays on literature; interdisciplinary essays; and original poems, plays, and stories.
The competitions are open to any University of Hartford student.
Write a great essay in WRT 110, one or two years back? Send it in! The contests award thousands of dollars in prize money every year.
