Thursday night, March 2nd at 7:30 pm in Wilde Auditorium students, staff, faculty and community members can watch the new preview trailer for the NOVA PBS television documentary "Holocaust Escape Tunnel" that was chosen as one of the top science stories of 2016 by the New York Times. FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. The evening will feature the back-story of the discovery by lead archaeologist and UHart professor, Dr. Richard Freund and information on how UHART students can participate in the 2017 excavations in Lithuania [also to be filmed for a television documentary!] this coming summer, 2017. Students can get up to six credits for excavations and scholarships are available. The NOVA documentary will air worldwide on April 19,2017 on PBS at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT.
