Decoda-The Affiliate Ensemble of Carnegie Hall performs as part of the Richard P. Garmany Chamber Music Series on Thursday, March 30, at 7:30 p.m. in Millard Auditorium. University faculty, staff, and students receive one free ticket to the performance. To obtain tickets online visit hartford.edu/tickets, stop by the University Box Office in Lincoln Theater, or call the Box Office at 860.768.4228.

Decoda is a cutting-edge, 21st-century ensemble that is setting the standard for outstanding, interactive and compelling performances. Because Decoda’s core group of artists consists of 30 musicians, the ensemble can offer extremely varied programming. This concert features music for piano and winds by György Ligeti, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Guillaume Connesson and Francis Poulenc.

In addition to the concert, DECODA will interact with students in The Hartt School and members of the University community while in residence on Wednesday, March 29, through the post- concert reception on Thursday. All of the events will be open to the public, and most will be free. Click here for the mini residency schedule.
