CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT I AND II

“How does the owner-driven team design a project development process that ensures meeting the critical quality, time & cost goals?”

These two Construction Institute workshops begin with strategic planning and programming for the project, and run through the pre-construction, construction, and project closeout phases. Real-life case studies and problem scenarios will be used. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Ensure that essential quality, time and cost targets are met, through an effective development process.
  • Learn to utilize a flexible framework and decision making process during:
    1) Strategic planning for a project.
    2) Programming phase.
    3) Pre-construction process during design.
    4) Construction phase of a project.
    5) Project closeout phase.

DETAILS AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  • DATES: April 6, 2017 and May 4, 2017
  • TIME:  8 a.m.- noon (each session)
  • LOCATION: 260 Girard Avenue, Hartford, CT (Asylum Avenue campus, Babcock Building)
