After careful consideration of several options, the University has decided to repair and renovate the indoor pool. This renovation project will replace the existing curtain wall, add new exterior doors, and create a new exterior patio area in front. The project will also replace the existing Drytron Pool/HVAC System and provide a new state of the art climate control system, providing heating, cooling, and dehumidification of the pool water and the indoor space.

To allow time to complete the repairs and to accommodate the project schedule, the pool will be closed from Monday, April 17, until mid September. Members will be updated about a projected opening date later in the summer. In addition, the plan at this time is to have the outdoor pool open the week of June 19 and to extend the outdoor pool hours this summer. Following the completion of the indoor pool project, the outdoor pool will be permanently closed and all University pool programs will be held in the indoor facility.

If you have any questions, please contact Kelli Cullen Conforti, assistant facility director of the Sports Center, at
