Robotics is a hot topic these days, not only for the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture (CETA), but also for high school students. CETA has joined in sponsorship for a Robotics team called The CyberKnights. “The CyberKnights are currently ranked second in the world for their power rating score based on math data collected on all events to date”.

CETA could not be prouder of their accomplishments at the Hartford District Event this past weekend. The CyberKnights had moved onto the playoffs accompanied by “Elm City Robo-squard from New Haven, CT and Rage Robotics from Tolland, CT”.

The CyberKnights pushed through the competition and “tied the world record high score with an impressive 522 points”, and bringing home the “First Robotics Blue Banner for Southington High School”. Out of 42 teams our sponsored team from Southington High School won first place. The CyberKnights are in the middle of the New England Championship this week, April 5-8th “to defend their New England title”. The CyberKnights have “won the New England title in both 2015 and 2016”. CETA wishes them luck during their competition and are extremely honored to be part of their success.
