Recently, Peter Lisi and Kristin Geshel, University’s Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), and the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions’ Institute for Translational Research’s Grant Administration Team, Paige Bray, Valerie Gilleran, and Kelly Anderson led a discussion about all things grants for ENHP faculty.
This workshop was for faculty at all grant involvement levels from first time researchers, new to the University, to seasoned grant recipients. OSP covered how to research grant opportunities and ways OSP and the college can work together to support faculty in their efforts to submit grant proposals.
Assistant Professor Duffy Felmlee remarked, “I am excited that I just went through the ITR and OSP process and it was not stressful. I had a last-minute grant and they helped throughout the process.”
The workshop also included a presentation from Bray and Gilleran about how the college works with both OSP and faculty to ensure all grant documentation is prepared by all required due dates.
“This workshop represents the great collaboration between ENHP and OSP,” said Bray. “I look forward to advancing more grant proposals in the coming year to expand the great research in ENHP.”
