Hello, my name is Rachel Kulas.  I am a graduate student at University of Hartford in the Graduate Institute for Professional Psychology program and a UConn alumni. I am conducting research on identifying risk and resiliency factors in college students and military personnel, and I am inviting you to participate because you are a college student.

Participation in this research includes taking a survey about stressors you may have experienced in your lifetime, supports that you may have, and presence of mental health symptoms.  Also, there are questions that ask about stress you imagine you might have if you were to be deployed, even if you are not in the military.  The estimated time it will take to complete the survey is 20 minutes.

If you choose to participate in this study you will be entered to win a $20 gift certificate to

If you have any questions or would like to participate in the research, I can be reached at 203-841-6688,

This protocol has been approved by the University of Hartford IRB and permission to recruit at UConn has been obtained from the UConn IRB.
