Myeisha Boyd '17, graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Politics, Economics, and International Studies, has been named a member of the first cohort of ENACT student delegates by the Brandeis University International Center for Ethics, Justice, and Public Life. ENACT delegates will "foster civic engagement on the college campus and facilitate engagement and interaction with ENACT students and alumni around the country."
Myeisha, nominated by Associate Professor Katharine Owens, will assist as Professor Owens leads a group of ENACT students in work with the Connecticut General Assembly in the spring of 2018. The ENACT program uses experiential learning to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage in state-level policy advocacy.
