Jeff Bagwell's Induction Into the Baseball Hall of Fame Makes News Around the U.S.

Jeff Bagwell, who starred for the Hartford Hawks from 1987-89 and then played for the Houston Astros, was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday, July 30. (Read about the ceremony here.)

The ceremony, including Bagwell's mentions of UHart in his speech, were covered in media outlets across the country, including USA Today, the Washington Post, and the Hartford Courant. Bagwell's days at UHart were the focus of stories in the Houston Chronicle and the Courant.
