*Do you miss singing in a choir?
*Do you want to stay connected with choral singing while you are in college?
*Do you want to reconnect with choral singing while you are studying at the University of Hartford?
*Are you interested in improving your musical skills?
If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, then consider auditioning for one of the choruses of The Hartt School! The Hartt School welcomes ALL university students to audition for its choral ensembles for the upcoming academic year.
Auditions will be held in The Hartt School (Fuller Building) in Room 411 on:
Friday, September 1, from 1-5 p.m.
To audition, bring something to sing such as a classical selection, a folk song, a song from a musical, or anything that can demonstrate your vocal ability. In addition, a few brief musicianship skills will be tested. Auditions normally take 6-7 minutes. An accompanist will be provided if you need one. Audition sign-up sheets are posted on the bulletin by Hartt Room 411.
Choral ensembles meet in The Hartt School four hours per week and are scheduled in two time blocks:
Block 1: M and W 2:30-3:50, and F 2:30-3:30
Block 2: M and W 4-5:20, and F 3:30-4:30
