The Hartford Consortium for Higher Education, in partnership with the University of Hartford and its other 10 member colleges from throughout Greater Hartford, will host a "Party on Pratt" in downtown Hartford this Friday evening, Sept. 22, from 4-10 p.m.

From games to comedy to psychic readings, downtown's Pratt Street will come alive with college students from the Hartford area. The event will also feature DJ Token, DJ Fire, Fashion by Popular Stranger, performances by student groups, giveaways, Nora's cupcakes, college mascots (including our own Howie the Hawk), and much more.

Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin will deliver opening remarks. Also greeting students will be Lee Peters, UHart's vice president for student affairs and dean of students.

Free shuttle bus transportation will be provided to students from campus to this downtown event. Pickup points on campus will be in front of the Commons, Konover, and The Hartt School (Millard Circle). The last bus will leave downtown and head back to campus at 10 p.m.
