A limited number of FREE spots are available for faculty and staff to run in the annual Hawktober 5K on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 8 a.m. The first 40 faculty and staff members to email Stacie Wentz will be granted FREE participation for the race thanks to the University’s general wellness program.
The pre-registration fee is $25, race day registration fee is $30, and registration for university students is $10. All proceeds will go directly to the Hawks Track & Field and Cross Country programs.
Online pre-registration for the general public is open. CLICK HERE to register. Pre-registration will close on Wednesday, Oct. 18.
The event is open to the local and university communities, with both walkers and runners encouraged to participate. All registered participants will receive a Hawktober T-shirt. Prizes will also be awarded to the top male and female finishers in these seven age categories: 14 and under, 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64 and 65 and over.
