The Hartt Wind Ensemble and Orchestra perform a joint concert on Friday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the newly renovated Millard Auditorium. This very special concert will feature the band music of The University of Hartford’s new President, Gregory Woodward. President Woodward's work is based off the themes of Karel Husa’s famous work Music for Prague 1968. Woodward studied with Karel Husa at Cornell for his composition degree. We will also be recognizing the 50th anniversary of Husa's work with a performance of Music for Prague 1968. Joining us as a guest conductor on this program will be Thomas Duffy, the Director of Bands and Professor of Music at Yale.

This concert will also be live streamed.  Visit www.hartford.edu/harttstream to view the stream.
