To Faculty, Staff, and Students:
We would like to show the University Community options for classroom furniture that are available in the marketplace and get your opinions on them, as well as any ideas you may have for learning environments as they pertain to physical classroom furniture.
Details: Classroom Furniture Roadshow
Location: Shaw Center at Hillyer Hall, 1st Floor
Dates: The Classroom furniture will be in place from noon on Tuesday, Oct. 24, through Thursday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m.
We will have two informational sessions to give the furniture representatives a chance to talk about their products and show videos and/or presentations to discuss how the furniture addresses current pedagogies in the higher education marketplace.
Live presentations will be on Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 1–3 p.m. and again from 4–6 p.m.
Please help us by making the effort to participate if you can and/or by commenting via email. We encourage you to come by the Shaw Center during these dates to take a Classroom Furniture “test-drive."
Any questions or comments can be directed to Janet Wheeler, Manager, Space Planning and Utilization at firstname.lastname@example.org.
