Infection Control Risk Assessment for Healthcare Design and Construction Workshop

This Construction Institute workshop will discuss the elements, requirements, and concerns for the Design and Construction professionals working in or interested in breaking into the Healthcare arena and the process of identifying risk areas and their categories, means of documentation, dust control and monitoring and daily safety logs.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Discuss proven methods and equipment needed to create a compliant environment for patients and construction personnel.
  • Discuss the roles of architect, PM, contractors and subcontractors regarding development and implementation of a work plan.
  • Gain a clear understanding of the role an ICRA plays in a healthcare project.
  • Learn about ICRA required documents and general conditions costs.
