The University of Hartford’s Hartford Art School Clay Club (known as Dirty for a Reason) is holding its 20th Annual Holiday Ceramics Sale–“It Came From The Kiln,” in Silpe Gallery. The sale opening is Saturday, December 2 from 6–8 p.m., with the sale running through Thursday, December 7.

Hundreds of hand-made ceramics created by students, alumni, and faculty, as well as work from Sculpture and Hartford Art School Print Club will be for sale. This is a great opportunity to buy a one-of-a-kind item as a gift, or for your own collection. Thirty percent of the sale proceeds go toward the students’ annual trip to the NCECA (National Council for Education in the Ceramic Arts) conference in Pittsburgh, Pa., in March. Gallery hours are: Sunday from noon until 5 p.m., and Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
