With the upcoming Holidays, we wanted to provide a guideline for Payroll Time Entry for the Non-Exempt Employees.
Thanksgiving is a Holiday.
The Day After Thanksgiving is a Holiday.
Christmas Day is a Holiday.
Holiday Season Floating(12/26) is a Holiday.
The days between December 27
th thru December 29th
are paid as University Close.
New Year’s Day is a Holiday

University Close is used for December 27
th thru December 29th
and during a period of time that the University is closed due to inclement weather.
If there is a delayed opening, University Close is used for the period of time prior to arriving to work. If during a delay opening, you do not come to work, University Close cannot be used and must report the day as Personal or Vacation.
If the University closes early due to inclement weather, you can only use University Close up to your regularly scheduled work day.
If you are an Exempt employee and you do not come to work during a delayed opening, you must report the day as Personal or Vacation.

Thank You and Happy Holidays from The Payroll Department.
