International Center Staff Presents at Regional Conference for International Educators

Nicole Kurker-Stewart, Director of the International Center, and Meaghan Murphy, International Program Administrator, recently presented at a regional conference in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire for NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Nicole led a full-day training workshop on F-1 Visa Student Advising for Beginners, attended by thirty colleagues from across New England. Meaghan co-presented two sessions during the conference: Re-Entry 101: Organizing and Providing Successful Re-Entry Programming for Study Abroad, and Maximizing Professional Development Opportunities in Your Education Abroad Career. Co-presenters included colleagues from Boston University, Northeastern University, Wheaton College, MCPHS University, Plymouth State University, and CAPA: The Global Education Network. This annual regional conference brings together colleagues from New England and surrounding regions to network and exchange innovate ideas and trends in international education.
