The University of Hartford's Fall Commencement ceremonies will take place this Sunday, Dec. 3, in Lincoln Theater. The day honors both September degree recipients and those who are scheduled to receive degrees in January.

Master's and doctoral degree candidates will participate in the graduate ceremony beginning at 10:30 a.m. Candidates for associate and bachelor's degrees will attend the undergraduate ceremony, which begins at 2:30 p.m. Receptions will follow both ceremonies for graduates and their guests in Konover Campus Center.

The event is ticketed. A live webcast of both ceremonies will be available at hartford.edu/commencement.

A Fall Commencement ceremony was introduced in 1996. In 2016, based on the growing number of students wishing to participate, Fall Commencement was split into the two separate ceremonies. Despite its perilous position on the calendar —the first Sunday each December—Fall Commencement has never been delayed or canceled due to weather in its 20-plus-year history.
