The University will open today at 10 a.m. Classes will begin at 10:30 a.m. Winterterm on-campus classes with start times prior to 10:30 a.m. will meet beginning at 10:30 a.m. while remaining on-campus and all online classes will meet at their scheduled times.

College of Arts and Sciences Professors Appear on Talk Shows this Weekend

Two College of Arts and Sciences professors are scheduled to appear on separate talk shows this weekend.

Adam Chiara, assistant professor of communication, is a guest on the Stan Simpson Show discussing what the FCC’s repeal of Net Neutrality regulations means and how it impacts the consumer. The show will air on Fox 61 Saturday, Dec. 23, at 5:30 a.m.

Richard Freund, professor of Jewish history, is making his 16th annual appearance on WTIC radio's Face Connecticut, on Sunday, Dec. 24, at 6 a.m., to recap the “year in archaeology.” Freund will discuss the origins of Christmas and Hanukkah, and his work featured in the National Geographic Channel’s Search for Atlantis documentary, the Holocaust Escape Tunnel NOVA documentary, and a new 2018 documentary about discoveries at a Holocaust-era labor camp in Lithuania.
