Sustained Excellence in Teaching Award for Part-time Faculty, Application Deadline: Tuesday, Jan. 16
The Office of the Provost continues to accept materials in application of the Sustained Excellence in Teaching Award for Part-time Faculty.
Part-time faculty are an integral part of the University of Hartford’s teaching and learning environment, and this award gives the University an opportunity to celebrate their achievements. Awards will be announced at the annual Part-time Faculty Reception in February. In addition to public recognition, the part-time faculty chosen will receive a monetary award.
To be eligible to apply, the part-time faculty member must have taught at least 30 credits at the University of Hartford.

Applications will be evaluated by a sub-group of the Advisory Committee on Part-time Faculty, which will include representatives from the full-time faculty, the part-time faculty, the Faculty Senate, and the Office of the Provost.
Applications are due to the Office of the Provost (CC 311) by 4 p.m. on January 16, 2018. Please note the application deadline is firm, NO LATE APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED.  A part-time faculty member who receives the Sustained Excellence in Teaching Award is not eligible to apply again until he/she has taught an additional 30 credits at the University of Hartford after receiving the award.
