Estimating Fundamentals Workshop

During this Construction Institute workshop, participants will learn skills and techniques in all aspects of estimating to deliver an optimum estimate and proposal for clients using real world examples and a case study.


  • To cover the estimator’s role in construction cost management and determining cost categories.
  • Learn about the skills needed in the development of a comprehensive bid from a general contractor’s perspective.
  • Review the hardware and software tools used in the estimating process.
  • Review of blueprint reading with blueprint handouts.
