This event is meant to create a space/venue for students to network and meet with faculty and staff outside of the classroom and office settings. The Student/Faculty/Staff Mixer will give students the opportunity to expand their network with folks they might not normally run into, and to find out more about University resources.
Our students tend to be very busy, having to juggle school, work and personal lives. Within their day to day only networking with those that fit within the reach of their daily routines. This is a tough fact! Consider, the impact we could have if we expanded our students’ network even just slightly. The Office of Student Activities and Greek Life believe that the impact would be massive.
Leadership Quest is attempting to expand this reach. The University of Hartford offers rich diversity in our student, faculty and staff and the Student/Faculty/Staff Mixer plans to create a space to allow students to explore this diversity.
