Goal Two of the Strategic Plan calls for positioning the University as a valued partner with business, industry, government and not-for-profit organizations to enhance the intellectual, entrepreneurial and career-ready skills of our students. The University is pleased to offer a third year of one-time seed money to underwrite the start-up or expansion of new or existing partnerships designed to support the development of mutually beneficial partnership activities.
For existing partnerships, funds should be used to create activities that include students from departments or colleges not currently involved with the partner(s) and/or to significantly increase the number of students impacted by an existing initiative. A newly proposed activity and partnership should fit into one of our sectors of focus: the arts, health care, education, or business and industry. Priority will be given to projects that impact the greatest number of students and programs.
Please email completed RFP submissions to Lynn Baronas, Director of Strategic Partnerships, at firstname.lastname@example.org on or before close of business on March 9, 2018. Members of the University’s Partnership Council will review all submissions during the week of March 12 and will make final decisions in early April.
