An Evening With Acclaimed Cinematographer Robert Chappell on April 17

Please join the Cinema Program for an evening with acclaimed cinematographer Robert Chappell on Tuesday, April 17th @7:30PM in the Kent McCray TV Studio (next to Wilde Auditorium. 

Robert Chappell has been the cinematographer on some of the most important documentaries in cinema history including The Thin Blue LineHe Named Me Malala and the Academy Award winning The Fog of War. From his close relationship with Errol Morris to his recent work with Lauren Greenfield, Robert will share his experience working with a variety of directors and the intricacies of the Director/Cinematographer relationship. Robert also shoots commercials for brands like Nike, Adidas, Google, GE, and UPS. Please join us for this exciting opportunity to hear the insights of an industry legend. 

Cinema's Associate Professor and Program Director Justin Liberman will moderate the discussion.
