On Friday, April 20th we will be holding two focus group sessions in the KF Room (Mortensen Library) at 9-10am and 11-12pm.  Please plan to join us for fun, food, and conversation about what an ideal LMS looks like. All faculty and staff are welcome. RSVP to and indicate which session you plan to attend.

As part of the ITEC Strategic Plan, the University is currently conducting a review of Blackboard, the campus’ Learning Management System (LMS).  These focus groups are a critical component of the review process. Please note that a review does not necessarily mean replacing the current LMS, but is a common best practice for most campuses, conducted in order to determine whether or not the current LMS is meeting the current needs of teaching and learning, including face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online classes.  The review will entail an evaluation of the full potential of Blackboard, as well as alternate comparable learning management systems.
