It’s that time of year again – time to consider nominating a staff member who exemplifies our institutional commitment to the success of our students for an Outstanding Staff Member Award!
Each year The University of Hartford celebrates staff who create and foster a culture of service excellence by using unique and distinct philosophies which broaden the University's reputation as a first-choice institution. Any regular full-time staff member (including supervisors) who has completed one year of service is eligible for nomination for this award. Department heads, Deans and University Cabinet members are not eligible for consideration. A maximum of five awards are presented annually at the Fall Faculty/Staff Kick-Off.
Anyone may recommend an eligible staff member for this award by submitting a nomination form. The nomination form can be found at www.hartford.edu/hrd, then click Outstanding Staff Member Award Nomination from the bottom of the menu on the left side of the page. Please be thoughtful and concise in your recommendation by giving specific examples of outstanding acts of excellence. Nominations that do not have specific examples may not be considered.
Supervisors will be notified approximately one week prior to the Fall Faculty/Staff Kick-Off if a member of their staff was selected to receive an Outstanding Staff Member Award.
Nominations should be submitted no later than June 1, 2018.
