Katie Stevinson Nollet's "Coming to the Surface" Reviewed

Katie Stevinson-Nollet, Professor of Dance and former artistic director of Full Force Dance Theatre, presented Coming to the Surface: a solo dance project in San Diego, and was reviewed by is a free arts magazine providing reviews & news on professional theater, music, dance and galleries in San Diego.  Click here to read the review.

Stevinson-Nollet premiered this work at the University of Hartford in McCray Theater this past January.

Coming to the Surface is a collection of dance works from some of the country’s most innovative and cutting edge choreographers. The performance features four original dance works by world-renowned choreographers as well as a collaboration piece with Robert Black, Professor of Double Bass at The Hartt School, and member of the renowned Bang on a Can All Stars. Themes range from the exploration of femininity, age, misogyny and empowerment.
