Research conducted by Krista McMurry M‘18, was presented at the Society for Neuroscience 2017 annual meeting in Washington, DC, and was featured in Alzforum, a news website that helps researchers in the development of diagnostics and treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. Conducted in the biology department with Assistant Professor Paola Sacchetti, and in collaboration with Assistant Professor Adam Silver, the research examines how gut bacteria may influence the symptoms and pathology of Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. https://bit.ly/2K2vCRd
