Annual Dialogue for Direction Program

Please be advised that the office of HRD distributed materials for the 2018 Dialogue for Direction program to University Deans, Directors and Administrative Department Heads on April 17, 2018. 

The overall design of the Dialogue for Direction program is to provide the staff member and supervisor with a process for facilitating discussion as well as planning performance objectives and direction for the next fiscal year. The University of Hartford links performance with pay and uses this process to make employment decisions, promotions, transfers and planning for staff development.  

Dialogue for Direction Forms, as well as the Dialogue for Direction Guide for staff and supervisors, are available on-line. To download the forms or applicable guides, please visit: 


Completed Dialogue for Directions must be returned to HRD no later than Friday, May 25, 2018.
