More than 1,200 University of Hartford students will celebrate the completion of their degrees during the University’s Commencement ceremonies this weekend.
About 350 graduate students will receive master’s and doctoral degrees on Saturday and nearly 900 undergraduate students will receive bachelor’s and associate degrees on Sunday.
The Graduate Commencement Ceremony is tomorrow at 10 a.m. on the campus green outside Gengras Student Union.
Undergraduate Commencement is Sunday beginning with a main ceremony at 10 a.m. on the campus green outside GSU. After the main ceremony, graduates and guests will proceed to separate sites on campus for diploma presentation ceremonies.
In the case of both Saturday's graduate ceremony and Sunday's undergraduate main ceremony, in the event of significant rain, the graduates will not line up or process, and will be seated by college marshals under the main Commencement tent upon arrival.
Cap-and-gown pickup for those who did not get their regalia previously will be Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday beginning at 8 a.m. in Konover Campus Center.
