The Interdisciplinary MFA is holding an Equity Workshop from noon–5 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, in the Joseloff Gallery.
The equity workshop, which is facilitated by CO:LAB for the Nomad/9 Interdisciplinary MFA program, will use interactive activities and discussion to explore the topics of power and social inequity, as well as how these social inequities affect students in an academic context.
We will learn by talking through our own experiences and by listening to the experiences of others, to understand the manifestation of bias and inequity in our social spaces and institutions. This will be a process of self-discovery that will result in a better understanding of social inequity, our relationships to others in the workshop, and how to co-create a productive and progressive program environment.
Please RSVP to Carla Corcoran ( by Wednesday, June 6, if you wish to attend.
