Parking Advisory

With forecast heavy rains for Saturday and the potential for both river and flash flooding, students are asked to avoid parking in low-lying areas of parking lots C, D, E (along the tree line), F (eastern most entrance by the pond), and N-Annex. Cars should now be on higher ground within these lots or in Lot F (by Konover Campus Center). Vehicles should be returned to their assigned parking lots by 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.

Proposals Sought for 2018 Connecticut STEM Conference

 Presenters needed for the 7th Annual Connecticut STEM Conference. Submit your proposals now to present October 15, 2018 at the Connecticut Science Center.

Last year, the conference drew educators from throughout the region at the exciting Connecticut Science Center to explore and discuss classroom ideas and innovations for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) curricula. The day featured hands-on, minds-on workshops, and exhibits. 

Presenters participate fully in the conference:

  • Conference and parking fees waived
  • Breakfast and lunch provided

 Please submit your proposal no later than June 18 via the “Requests for Proposal” link on the Connecticut STEM Conference website.

The STEM Conference Committee reviews all proposals. Presenters will be notified via email by July 11 of proposal status.

The Connecticut STEM Conference Planning Committee includes:
