Faculty, staff, and alumni of the Hartford Art School swept the 43rd Annual Connecticut Art Directors Club Awards on June 29.
Mark Snyder, associate professor of visual communication design and foundations coordinator, and Kevin Sepe, graphic designer, won a Gold award for their Hartford Art School recruitment brochure.
Visual communication design professor Andy Wollner won an excellence award for his branding work for the Armenian Museum
Additional Gold awards went to Megan Sweeney '18, who submitted her senior project to the competition, and to Joseph Padilla '18 for his illustration submission.
Heather Bousquet '18 won a Silver award for a political illustration. Additional Silver awards went to illustrations created by Joseph Padilla '18 and Vivian Chu '18.
Other excellence awards went to the following members of the class of 2018: Riya Patel, Matthew Cooper, Audrey Bowen, Nicole Gibson Lindholm, Rachel Rosa, and Jessica Wells.
