2018–19 Parking Permits Available Starting Today

Parking Permits for the 2018-2019 academic year will be available starting on August 1, 2018.

All faculty, staff, and students must display a valid parking permit by the first day of class.

Permits should be requested online using the Self-Service Center.

Instructions for requesting a permit:

  • Log into Self-Service
  • Click on Public Safety/Parking
  • Click on Request a University of Hartford Parking Permit

Faculty and staff are encouraged to pay for their permit online when they request the permit. There is not an extra fee when paying online. If the permit fee is paid at Public Safety, it must be paid by check or with cash in the exact amount.

Adjunct faculty must request their permit online, but do not have to pick up a parking permit hangtag at Public Safety. The license plate number is the permit number.

Students may pay for their permit online or add the permit fee to their student account. There is not an extra fee when paying online. The fee may not be paid at Public Safety. Students must bring the valid car registration and ID to Public Safety when picking up the permit decal.

After requesting the permit online, a temporary permit will be issued. The actual parking permit must be picked up at Public Safety before the temporary permit expires. The Public Safety office is open 24 hours a day.

As a reminder, all outstanding tickets must be paid before the parking permit will be issued.
