Llonia Rojan Jackson ‘94 has been named director of multicultural student support and development. She will formally join the student life team on Aug. 13.

Currently associate director of alumni engagement, Jackson has spent the past three years building strong working relationships with internal constituencies, corporate partners, and alumni.

Her prior work experience spans the range of academia, nonprofits, government, and community relations.

“Given her passion for this work, for initiatives such as the Book Fund and the Hartford Scholars program, and for student success in general, Llonia was the obvious choice,” said Michael Malone, assistant vice president of student affairs. “As an alumna of the University of Hartford, Llonia has special affinity for the student experience here.”

Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political science from UHart and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Connecticut.
