Represent Career Services, and mentor your peers!

Interested in helping other students articulate their skills and build their resumes? Committed to being a model representative of the University of Hartford? If you answered yes to both of those questions, perhaps you might consider joining the Career Services Career Peer Ambassador Program.

What does a career peer do?

  • Provide individual guidance to students regarding their resumes and cover letters
  • Helps their peers articulate their strengths and expand upon past experiences
  • Must be willing to commit 3 hours a week

We are looking for model students who are involved in the campus community, have excellent time management skills, are sociable, and have a flexible schedule with a 3.0 GPA or higher.

If you feel that you would be a positive representative of the University, please contact Christine Riley, Assistant Director of Career Services (860.768.5754 or riley@hartford.edu), or visit the Career Service office outside of Hawk Lounge to pick up an application. Applications will be accepted until October 12.

If you have any questions, please contact Christine at ext. 5754 or by email at riley@hartford.edu.
