Remembering Life Regent Joan Joseloff Kohn

The University community is saddened by news of the death of Life Regent Joan Joseloff Kohn of Bloomfield, Conn. She served on the University Board of Regents from 1966-70 and again from 1977-80. She was elected an Honorary Regent in 1984 and a Life Regent in 1993. Her mother, Lillian L Joseloff, was one of the founders of Hartford Art School and Hartford Junior College for Women which later became Hartford College for Women, Lillian Joseloff received an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts from the University in 1968. Joseloff Gallery is named for Joan Kohn’s deceased sister Carol Joseloff Taub.
