On October 28 at Beth El Temple in West Hartford took place a great concert - Just Two Pianos.
The concert was dedicated to the memory of Yummie Gelfrand Oberstein whose family donated "the other grand piano" to Beth El Temple. Cantor Joseph Ness composed a powerful and touching piece which brought many to tears - Miriam Han'via, dedicated to the memory of Yummie Gelfrand. This piece was beautifully performed by our Hartt School faculty Kamilla Mammedova along with Lan-Ya Huang. It was a premiere of this piece.
At the concert also performed music by Bach, Brahms, Gershwin, and Piazzola played by pianists T.Azadaliyeva, Cihan Yucel, and Jimin Han.
